Kate Dittmann

Designer Kate Dittmann believes she has the coolest career in the world! She gets to draw elephants and monkeys for a living, and hugging stuffed animals is literally part of her job. Her love of art blossomed as a child. Kate says, “My grandpa first introduced me to art. He would take his grandchildren into his workshop and hold our hand in his and let us ‘help him’ paint.” You’ve probably seen some of her work, such as the Tender Love Elephant and Bird, Wishing Pals, the Prayer Lamb and Welcome to the World Bundles. She also had a part in rolling out the beloved Giving Bear, and Kate played a big role in designing the Jumbo and Mini Giving Bears.
