I remember when my fiancé asked me out on our first date. I asked him if I could make one date request (he said of course): can we do something other than just dinner? I didn't want anything expensive, but I wanted something more unique and interactive for us. And boy did he come through: he took us to a park and put on a cooking show for me as he set up a (HUGE) charcuterie board!

So, how do you come up with new ideas for date night? While there are many great products out there that give numerous ideas, here are 8 trending date night ideas that we highly recommend!

Idea 1:

Go to your local thrift store and pick out an outfit for each other to wear! Then go to your favorite spot wearing said outfits. 

Idea 2:

Go to a record store and pick out a record together. Then go home, pour some wine and grab a sweet treat; just relax and enjoy the company and music. 

Idea 3:

Hop in the car and go on a mini road-trip to somewhere new in your hometown. If you're feeling really adventurous, don't turn on the GPS and just see where the road leads.

Go to a bookstore and pick out a book to read together. You can spend every date night for the next couple weeks enjoying a leisurely pastime!
