The Artist
Illustrator and textile designer Amy Schimler-Safford has a love for color, texture and pattern. While creating art, from drawing and painting to ceramics, has always been in her blood, it was her first college textile design class that ignited the p assion sheknew she would pursue. Today, Amy specializes in creating designs for the home goods, stationery, and children’s markets. She delights in the beautiful colors that surround her each day in her tiny cabin in the woods of Georgia. She sees sharing her joy with others through her art as both a gift and a privilege.
