The Artist
Venice-native Marco Marella spent his youth, like many, exploring his strengths and discovering his weaknesses in the realms of education and workforce before seeing the light and giving in to his downplayed natural gift for drawing. After experienci ng some classes at the Chelsea School of Art in London, Marco determined the self-taught path was for him and returned to Venice to pursue a professional career. Marco has achieved much success with commission work in the advertising and editorial fi elds, but finds the greatest joy and creative freedom in licensing projects. His perfect balance is sharing creative time with free time, during which he refuels by cooking for family and friends and strolling the city he feels lucky to live in, wher e colors and shapes, smells and noises provide great inspiration.
