Elizabeth Tipton often finds inspiration simply gazing through the window of her stone house studio at the lush park below. When she needs a different spark of creativity, she turns to the volumes of art books, strewn about her library. Some hold antique secrets of East Indian and Turkish designs, encouraging her love of anything that gives the feeling of age and history. Antiquity combined with image editing, allow Elizabeth to layer her original paintings with textiles, mementos and encouraging words.
