Meet the Artists

Peggy Jo Ackley and Lisa Brussell make up the design duo Les Deux Amies (French for “the two friends”). Peggy, a well-known illustrator and licensed product designer, and Lisa, a distinguished graphic artist and package designer, share a love of antique ephemera, all things paper, and the process of composing as a team. Using Peggy’s paintings and Lisa’s typography and backgrounds, the duo combines their skills to create distinctive collage looks.
